EIT Food Hub Turkey 2021-2023

EIT Food, which is among the funding mechanisms of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, is Europe’s leading food innovation initiative working to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and reliable. Yaşar University (YU) will undertake EIT Food activities to support EIT Food Hub Turkey in collaboration with Boğaziçi University and Impact Hub İstanbul during the 2021-2023 season and will carry out dissemination activities on Food/Agricultural Entrepreneurship.

Yaşar University’s activities include identifying students, graduates and researchers who want to develop their entrepreneurial skills, potential stakeholders and directing them to appropriate EIT Food activities.

In addition, Yaşar University will expand activities targeting SME and Agrifood industrial clusters by focusing on 6 innovative areas under the headings of alternative proteins, sustainable agriculture, targeted and personalized nutrition, sustainable aquaculture, digital traceability and circular food system.
